This will mark Justin Bonsignore's first appearance at Martinsville in the NASCAR Xfinity Series; however, the New York native has had experience at the iconic short track in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Series. In 2024 in the Wheelen Modified Series, Bonsignore started from the pole position and led 136 laps before taking the checkered flag. With five starts at the track, Bonsignore has posted four top fives, four top 10s, and led over 180 laps.
NASCAR WHELEN MODIFIED TOUR SUCCESS: While still competing on a full-time NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, Justin Bonsignore has posted three poles, eight top fives, 14 top 10s, 250 laps led, and a win at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park. With one more race to go for the 2025 season, the reigning champ currently sits in second place with only 14 points behind the leader. It will come down to Martinsville Speedway to see who will win the title.
ON THE PITBOX: Bonsignore will be paired with veteran crew chief Jeff Meendering for his rookie year. Meendering has visited Victory Lane 10 times as a NXS crew chief, most recently with Chandler Smith at Richmond in March 2024. His teams have collected 76 top-five finishes, 147 top-10 finishes, and 16 pole positions under his leadership.
