Huntington Beach’s young musical upstarts Your Favorite Color blend dreamy electronic pop with classic indie rock sensibilities. Getting to work with YFC has blossomed into some great design projects, including these awesome shirts and hoodies we created with them. They wanted a unique and unexpected piece for their shirts that showed the more dark and mysterious side of their sound. The artwork boasts their original thoughts and musings which represents a deeper understanding of their music and lets the viewer peer a little closer at what makes these incredibly talented musicians tick. It all ties nicely with their current single and video for “Heroine” which we highly recommend you check out right now. Looking forward to showing you more of our collaborations with YFC in the very near future!

"We love it when a plan comes together" Didn’t Hannibal from the A-Team say that? I think he actually said “I” instead of “We”…. Well, this was one of those logos that came together perfectly.

The client came to us with a general concept of that they wanted and after drafting multiple revisions within our secret underground Fluxar laboratory, there it was! We sent it over to the client and they loved it. Hit the nail on the head! Thanks Mark Windes and Danielle Windes we are looking forward to seeing the logo in action.

The reigning underdogs in NuMetals' veteran ruling family are back. "Ready To Die" is the first single from their upcoming album 360 Degrees Of Separation. This is the original line-up's first new album with long time friend Ryan Shuck (OrgyMusic, Julien-K, Dead by Sunrise).

It’s been a pleasure to continue working with Adema during their current comeback and creating artwork to compliment their return. We wanted to make something impactful for their single “Ready to Die” and really tried to encapsulate the emotion and raw energy of the song. We’d like to think we were successful in doing so. The song has been doing great on rock radio, Spotify, Amazon Music, and other streaming platforms in the few short weeks since its release.

We look forward to sharing even more of the work we’ve cooked up with these guys in the coming months. A big thanks to Superman Ryan Shuck for his continued devotion to Fluxar.

Looking for some new tunes? If you are then you should check out upcoming Sunset Grunge Rock Band Slaves To Humanity.

Fluxar was tasked with building a brand new logo from the ground up, as well as the artwork for the upcoming single, and some apparel designs. This project was close to our hearts here at Fluxar, being the music nerds that we are.

We would really like send big thanks to frontman Aidan Amini and the band along with Ryan Shuck and Amir Derakh for giving us the opportunity to work with these rock stars.

Fluxar has lost a friend and one of our favorite clients. Dexter came to us back in 2000ish wanting to build a website, and help with branding his Special Ops Clip on Kneepads. Needless to say we jumped right on the opportunity!

Dexter was adamant about having a spinning version of himself wearing his kneepads on the website. The only way to do it at the time and have it be fluid was to use good ol' Adobe Flash!

Thought we would also share a screenshot of his website that dates back to 2001! Where you see Dexter standing was the spinning image of himself.

Dexter became family to Fluxar over the many years we knew him. He would always come by the office, call, and email us on a regular basis just to talk. He was always wanting to "update" his website, and we would sit for hours talking about how to do something more amazing than the spinning cowboy. :)

His son Brandon Meadows plans to pick up where Dexter left off and will continue the legacy.

Working on the Midici website was enough to leave you hungry after each session. Lots of creative work and great photography went into this project. Our crazy designer Andreas put his magical touches on the website and built the Midici logo ground up.
