At an election-investigation hearing yesterday, PA state Sen. Williams said the probe was being held by Republicans "conspiring to change the results of [the 2020 general] election.”

An investigation into election proceedings cannot change the results of the 2020 election. Biden won. That's settled.

The audit could result in efforts for better election security, of which Senate Dems seem genuinely afraid.

The U.S. Conference of Mayors supports infusing K-12 curricula with critical race theory (CRT). Why do so many of the mayors involved in passing that declaration have trouble owning it?

Example: Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms's office was asked whether she supports utilizing CRT in public schools.

Her spokesperson's answer?

“The Atlanta Public [Schools] System is governed by an independently elected board which directs curriculum and policy decisions.”

That's swell, but Bottoms was asked about a resolution passed by the 𝘜.𝘚. 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘧𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘔𝘢𝘺𝘰𝘳𝘴--of which she is a member and a committee chair--not Atlanta Public Schools.

Support CRT or don't, but be straight about it.

On Sunday night, Texas House Democrats said a prayer that ended, "Remove us from this hypocrisy and give us democracy."

Moments before, they fled their chamber to prevent a vote on election reforms that would otherwise have passed and that voters overwhelmingly support.
