Trump-backed GOP challenger Mike LiPetri lands labor union endorsement in his bid to unseat Democrat Tom Suozzi in one of the nation's most competitive House races.

The International Union of Operating Engineers Local 138 threw its support behind LiPetri, who argues Suozzi 'betrayed' federal law enforcement by reversing his vote on ICE funding after pressure from the left.

Trump carried the Long Island-Queens district by four points in 2024, and Republicans say the seat could decide control of the House majority.
