Summer Indie Artists' Music & Wine Showcase Brings Local Music and Fresh Talent to Abingdon on August 2nd

Abingdon, MD — The Summer Indie Artists' Music & Wine Showcase, curated by Lorraine Bailey-Carter, Founder of The Women’s Challenge, Inc., is set to spotlight a powerful lineup of emerging independent artists on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Friendship Park (3520 Woodside Road, Abingdon, Maryland). This live outdoor concert experience is designed to uplift indie talent and create a vibrant space for community, culture, and creativity.

With a diverse roster of performers and a setting curated for authentic connection, the Showcase offers attendees an opportunity to discover new music, support independent artistry, and enjoy a summer evening filled with energy and expression.

Guests 21 and older will also enjoy an exclusive on-site wine and spirits experience, featuring selections from premier regional vendors including Boordy Vineyards, Woodshed Distillery, and Twin Valley Distillers. Each vendor will offer tastings and product highlights, adding a sophisticated touch to the vibrant atmosphere of the showcase.
