The mission of Ignite & Illumin8 Apparel is to empower Christians to achieve a community of believers and give light to the world by guiding others to the fullness and glory of God. As a son, father, educator, coach, mentor, and native of Baltimore, Maryland, Marvin has dedicated his life to serving the Lord and his community. In 2015, Marvin felt a calling from God to embrace a new journey, a new
purpose, and a new mission. Since then, he has been a faithful servant at First John Tabernacle Baptist Church, where he was baptized and installed as Trustee. In 2019, amidst a global pandemic, Marvin was called by the command of God and our Savior Jesus Christ to launch Paid The Price Ministries. This evangelism and outreach community service ministry of the universal church is dedicated to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through works of mercy, spiritual care, and teaching the Christian faith. Marvin's love for God and his community is evident in everything he does, and he believes that each member of the body of Christ should serve Him with courage, compassion, confidence, and competence. Marvin's commitment to ministry is unwavering, and he has enrolled in Christian Leaders Institute to further his education and deepen his knowledge of the Word of God. He has completed the Minister Ordination course and is currently studying for an Associate of Divinity in Ministry Studies with a concentration in Youth Ministry Leadership. Marvin anticipates graduating with Honors with a 4.0 GPA in 2024. He currently possesses certifications through Christian Leaders Institute in Christian Leaders Connection Award, Christian Basic Certificate, Deacon Ministry Certificate, and many more! Marvin lives by the inspirational biblical scripture Matthew 5:16 - "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
