Kandahar is an absolute treasure in the heart of Hampden. My kids and I tried the lamb shank w/ pallow rice, chicken kabob, mantu dumplings, aushak ravioli and it was truly one of the best middle eastern meals we’ve ever had in Baltimore City. The lamb 🍖 was fall-off-the-bone tender, perfectly seasoned with rich spices that tasted authentic. The pallow rice was incredibly fragrant—light, fluffy, and full of flavor.

The owner was attentive and onsite, atmosphere warm and welcoming, and you genuinely feel the care and tradition behind every dish. If you’re looking for a meal that’s both comforting and memorable, this place is a must-visit. I can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu!
