Tucked away in an office park just off York Road is a wonderful hidden gem — The Kahlert Cafe

Just opened summer of 2026, this welcoming little spot in Baltimore County’s Hereford Zone serves up a menu filled with fresh breakfast and lunch specials. A farm-to-table enterprise by Richcroft, Inc. designed to provide meaningful employment and training for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

There’s something especially wonderful about enjoying a great meal while supporting a place with such a positive purpose. The food is fresh, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the people behind it make the experience even better.

P.S - The Cheesesteak Sandwich was delish! I hear the turkey avocado is outstanding, next on my list!
