The SHINE Grant from Maryland Humanities is now open — offering up to $20,000 for projects that uplift storytelling, oral history, public programs, and cultural preservation.

If your organization conducts interviews, engages in public dialogue, or provides cultural programming to help people connect and reflect.

Schools or educators with creative humanities-based projects
Artists + filmmakers preserving neighborhood stories
Libraries and museums hosting dialogues or workshops
The application is detailed ,but absolutely worth it.
