Your hat probably didn’t shrink. It lost its oval.

For the most part, hats don’t just shrink, unless you’re leaving them in a hot truck all the time. What usually happens is the hat loses the oval shape that matched your head.

That’s why maintaining the oval matters.

A custom band block helps your hat hold the shape of your head, so the next time you put it on, it fits the way it should. It can also help break in a new hat the right way.
