Canary Tree Marketing offers over a decade of sales and marketing experience. Jennifer Hardin, President of Canary Tree Marketing has experience that includes management, marketing, sales and training experience. She graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a BBA in Marketing. Upon graduation, she spent time in a management role with over 50 employees. Her role in sales has been based on many years working for a company where she was promoted multiple times to roles that included Regional Trainer and Operations Trainer. This experience in a sales setting, taught her the importance of customer service and how to be a strong closer. As Trainer, she trained all levels of the store team, from management to entry level. Her sales experience also includes real estate. She has been in the role of Marketing Director where, she marketed a local business. Here Jennifer, promoted to Louisville, Kentucky residents and tourists. In this role, she used many different marketing mediums to reach customers. With this impressive and vast experience, Canary Tree Marketing has the skills and experience to grow your business. She is a native of Kentucky and is very familiar with several communities inside and outside of Louisville. These areas include Bardstown, Elizabethtown, and Mount Washington. This small town knowledge will only benefit you on a larger scale to know your competition and your market. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has announced plans to update its wastewater discharge rules for meat and poultry processing facilities. Under the proposed regulations, small processors would have to spend potentially millions of dollars to make their facilities compliant, plus hundreds of thousands of dollars annually to remain compliant. If this happens, many of our small meat processors across the country will be forced to close.

These proposed regulations will impact well beyond just the meat processors who have to comply with the regulations. Suppliers, other businesses, customers (retail consumers and businesses), farmers/ranchers and beyond will be directly impacted so we are asking everyone to speak up at this time.

Once the regulations are made public in December (the current timeline from the EPA), there will be a public comment time and we will ask that you speak up then as well. Until then, the American Association of Meat Processors (AAMP) has created a great, simple way you can reach out to politicians.

We are paying close attention to these proposed regulations and have been working diligently on multiple fonts to help combat and minimize these impacts. Stay tuned to news from KAMP for updates.
