Throwback to when I was pregnant for my 2nd!
I could take this picture again now, ha! 😆 Sad to say, though, that this covered bridge is collapsing. I can squeeze in a couple photo sessions between now and the new baby’s birth if anyone needs to get some pictures done. Prices are still the same as the last two years, yay!

Created a business card, answered some emails with ad campaign strategy pointers, and scheduled a few more clients’ social media posts this morning. Now I get to enjoy this beautiful fall day with my kids! My 4yo son decided this was the sunhat I needed to wear (he was right; it’s the only one I have that matches 😊). Why is there a picture of baby toys on a business page?
I’ll tell you why.

When you support a small business, you support a family.

When you support a small business, you support child development as a mom is home to nurture her babies and teach them love, skills, and knowledge.

When you support a small business, you’re allowing that mom to see her baby learn to sit up, or crawl, or any other milestone.

When you support a small business, you help buy that baby’s diapers.

When you support a small business, that family can pay for an emergency expense, like the roof repair we just did. Or medical bills. Or buy Christmas presents.
I just wrote a month’s worth of a client’s social media posts while sitting on this quilt, all while smiling at my baby and entertaining my toddler. Your business thrives while my family thrives.

Taking an editing break to soak up some of this fall weather with my kiddos. I have three photo sessions booked next week. When you work with a photographer who’s an advertising designer, you not only get photos you like—but photos you NEED. I strategize with you about what your goals are, and then craft your photos to be usable and purposeful as well as aesthetically pleasing.

A politician needs not only a headshot, but photos gesturing; they need photos displaying various degrees of emotion depending on what the campaign needs (strength, kindness, focus, approachability, determination, power, etc.). They need photos that show them interacting with the public.

A businesswoman might still need a flattering headshot, but she also needs photos that show her outstanding customer service and friendliness in her store, or portraits in her office to demonstrate her success.

Hello! I’m Esther McCune, and I absolutely love anything creative. I have a degree in advertising and design, and have been “behind the lens” since college.

PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY I do a blend of portrait and lifestyle portraits, and the timelines of sessions are flexible depending on needs. I’ve been photographing people for nearly a decade and love what I do. Let me capture your memories!

GRAPHIC DESIGN & COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY As a graphic designer, I have several years experience working for an advertising agency and have been freelancing ever since. I can do logos, flyers, menus, brochures, wedding invitations, marketing material, political flyers, and more! If you can dream it, chances are that I can create it! I do free marketing planning consultations to help you find the ideal marketing materials for your business. Additionally, I have much experience in both taking and editing commercial and stock photography and can help create the photos needed to advertise your business.
