It's been a minute since I did some photos for Mary's Dogs but my heart will always be so close to this rescue who brought me my Rowan red dog and now my Riley Bagel! It was a crisp and very sunny day in Deerfield and the volunteers and staff that dedicate so much time to saving dogs really are the heart of this rescue. This 5k started as a senior project for a very special friend's daughter and it's come full circle as she now is a veterinarian.

You all know I love me a shoot when we can bring the pup! Also, what a great time to get that family photo when we already have to get together for the senior, right?! I so enjoyed my afternoon with this family. Isn't Snickers (the pup) adorable?!

Well I can truly say I've been taking this family's photos since the youngest was born! I am honored to follow them through their childhood and get to laugh alongside them while capturing their true spirit, even got some tiktok photo tips! ;) Lol. Had a blast. Thank you for reaching out and so happy we were able to make this happen!

I was in awe that Max was a senior. How is this "little" brother a senior?! We had a great time in the full sun a few weeks ago capturing these. I truly hope this year is everything you want it to be and great things to come for you in your future!
