Settling In🙌

We have been very busy getting acclimated to our new location over the past couple of months. Right before Christmas, our office staff moved from our temporary office into our new location at 4974 East Main Street, Batavia. At that time, our press room was not complete, so we had been operating equipment in another part of the building that will be eventually used for storage.
Our office team settled in quickly, enjoying the brand-new facilities!
Meanwhile, our production team has been slowly moving equipment from the storage area to their new shop floor, as the contractors have been completing construction. Today, we are fully moved into what will be our permanent manufacturing space. We still have to ramp up to full production capacity, and will continue adding capabilities and equipment over time. Although our building is ready for us to work in, the contractors are completing the finishing touches, a sign needs to be installed, and in the spring, we will have some outdoor finishing to be done.
From where we are at today, we are extremely grateful to be in this beautiful new space and looking forward to making it our home for a very long time to come!

A big day today! Today we moved our office staff into our new location. A huge thank you to Watson Construction, for this stellar building recycle under such a time crunch. They are a wonderful team! It feels simply amazing to be back in a building of our own. This path has been difficult but also full of blessings! I'm excited to share more about our journey as we settle in… stay tuned!

💪Here we go!!! First impressions off in the new building!!

Our permanent shop is still under construction but we’ve got presses running anyway! I walked in to the new building yesterday and heard a sound I haven’t heard in four months… that cadence of an offset press. It sounded like a comeback.🙌

We’ve still got a LOT of work to get our shop completely operational, but this is a huge step!
Thanks Mike B., Bob and Earlene for getting us set up amidst the drywalling, nail guns, insulation and siding, wiring, etc etc…the list goes on and on. We truly have the best team🥰

Hi there, this is Becky Almeter, owner of Hodgins Engraving. We don't use Facebook often but.... things change. As you probably know, we experienced a devastating fire in May and lost our building and everything in it. The path since then has been up and down, with many challenges for us personally, our team and our business. BUT....we are still here and still working while we rebuild because we have had an overwhelming amount of support from our community, our customers, our industry, our employees - our families by blood or otherwise. The fire was shocking and devastating but we were beyond grateful that no one was hurt. The aftermath was scary and uncertain and for a while, we didn't know what would become of Hodgins Engraving. It wasn't long before we realized we had so much to build on, to continue for. We started looking for equipment and a new building. We found one in Batavia that will suit our needs perfectly and hired a contractor to do the necessary renovations. We are only using it to store presses in for now while we wait for our new space to be ready, but seeing a press move in that first day was incredible. We don't know yet what will happen, but we are going to be here to find out. A HUGE thank you to all that supported us, especially to our incredible employees that are the main reason we are still here. ❤️‍🩹
