At the “Dairy Bar” in Port Orange, Florida you’ll find an old-school roadside stop built around simple favorites...loaded hot dogs, cold desserts, and a relaxed picnic-table setting near the coast. This window-service spot sits at 55 Dunlawton Avenue and has the feel of a classic beach-town hangout, drawing both locals and visitors for chili dogs, ice cream cones, shakes, and other nostalgic bites. Their hot dogs are the big draw, especially with house-made chili, melted cheese, kraut, slaw, diced onions, or jalapeños piled on top. After that, the dessert menu is just as tempting, with thick hand-spun milkshakes, banana splits, soft serve, flurries, sundaes, and fresh-squeezed lemon icees that are perfect after a hot day by the water. Dairy Bar is still known as a cash-only kind of place, with an ATM on site, and parking is available both out front and behind the stand. Grab a picnic table, slow down, and enjoy one of Port Orange’s most classic little food stops.
