More than 60% of your shoppers are on their phones. Is your store actually built for them?

"Mobile responsive" just means it does not break on a small screen. That is a very low bar. Mobile optimized means the whole experience was designed for thumbs, for cellular speeds, and for someone who will leave in under three seconds if anything feels awkward. If you have not tested your checkout on your actual phone lately, open it up right now and go all the way through. You might be surprised by what you find.

The AI hype is cooling off, and honestly, that is a good thing.

When everyone was chasing the transformation story, most businesses ended up with a pile of subscriptions and not much to show for it. What is actually working right now is far more boring and far more useful: finding the specific tasks that eat up hours every week and automating exactly those. Not AI-first strategy. Just smarter operations.

Running a WooCommerce store? Here are five settings worth checking this week.

Abandoned cart recovery emails alone can bring back ten to fifteen percent of lost sales with almost no ongoing effort. Guest checkout removes one of the most common reasons people bail at the finish line. Backorder messaging keeps customers informed instead of frustrated. High Performance Order Storage speeds up your database. And geolocation-based shipping rates mean you are never accidentally overcharging or undercharging anyone again.

Any of these you have not set up yet? Drop a comment and we are happy to point you in the right direction.

We got a client to the number one spot on Google with one piece of content, and the strategy was not complicated.

We looked at every page already ranking for their target keyword and found one thing they all had in common: they stopped short. They covered the topic at a surface level but never answered the practical follow-up question that anyone with the actual problem would be asking. We wrote the piece that answered it, made sure the page was technically solid, and got it in front of a few relevant sites. Eight weeks later, position one.

If your ads are running but the leads are not converting, the problem is probably not your budget. It is your targeting.

Most ad accounts we audit are spending money to reach people who are in the general category but not actually ready to buy. Broad targeting feels safe because the reach numbers look impressive, but reach that does not convert is just expensive noise. The fix is almost always to get more specific about who you are actually trying to reach, and let the algorithm do its job with a sharper signal.

In 25 years of software migrations, here is the thing that almost always causes projects to go over time and over budget. It is not the code.

It is alignment. Requirements that were not fully locked down before development started. Departments that were not consulted until they had opinions about a build that was already halfway done. Scope that grew because nobody had the hard conversation about what was out of scope before the work began. These are not technical problems, and throwing more developers at them does not help.

The teams that finish migrations on time are the ones that treat the alignment work as seriously as the technical work, before anything gets built.

Customers don't abandon carts because they changed their minds. They abandoned them because something felt off.

Trust is the invisible conversion metric, it doesn't show up in your dashboard, but it shows up in your sales.

Real reviews. Clear policies. A checkout that looks like it was built this decade.

The little things aren't little. They're the whole game.

If you run Google Ads, here's a 5-minute task that could save you hundreds of dollars this month

Pull your search terms report. Look at what searches actually triggered your ads.
You will almost certainly find searches you'd never want to pay for.

"Free." "Student." "DIY." "How to do it myself." "Competitor name + reviews."

Those are called wasted impressions. Negative keywords block them.

Most ad accounts we audit have hundreds of them draining the budget quietly every week.

Thinking about buying another AI tool? Run this quick 3-question test first:

1. What specific task will it replace or speed up, and how many hours per week?

2. How will you know in 90 days if it's actually working? (Pick the metric now, before you buy.)

3. What's the TRUE cost, including setup, training, and integration, not just the monthly fee?

If you can't answer all three clearly, you're buying a hypothesis, not a solution.

Your agency reports on conversions. But do they tell you how much it costs to acquire an actual paying customer?

A form fill is not a customer. A phone call is not a customer. A customer is someone who buys.
Cost per acquisition, real acquisition, tied to revenue, is the metric that matters.
If your reporting doesn't include it, ask for it.

And if your agency can't provide it, that's worth a conversation.
