After more than 40 years in the apparel decoration industry, Art is officially retiring.

Over the decades, Art has helped outfit thousands of athletes, teams, schools, businesses, and organizations across Michigan. From little league uniforms and championship jerseys to school spirit wear and community events, his work has touched countless lives. More importantly, it wasn't just the apparel he provided, it was the relationships he built, the trust he earned, and the genuine care he showed to every customer along the way.

Today, we celebrate not only an incredible career, but an incredible person. To honor Art and all he has meant to our company, customers, and community, all Great Lakes Bay Region locations will close today at 3:30 PM as we gather to wish him well on his next chapter.

After four decades of deadlines, deliveries, and dedication, Art is finally off the clock and free to spend his time however he chooses. While we'll miss seeing him every day, we're grateful for the legacy he leaves behind and the example he has set for all of us.

Thank you, Art, for the years of hard work, friendship, laughter, and commitment. And thank you to our customers, friends, and community members who have been part of the journey and helped make Art's career so meaningful.

Congratulations, Art. You've earned every minute of what's next.

*** *** DAY OF CARING *** ***

Sandlot Apparel continues to work in our communities.... and for
our communities.

We had team members volunteer at the Humane Society of Bay County last Friday in conjunction with United Way of Bay County and the Day of Caring.

Every year, this event grows in both its reach and participants! There were 800 volunteers who met at the Pavillion downtown, before going to their assigned sites across Bay County. So many locations cleaned, and so many people (and animals) were helped on this wonderful day!.

Our team, led by site leader Jenna Dost, worked at the Humane Society, working both inside the building and out. Kennels and beds were cleaned, windows were washed, floors mopped, bushes and trees trimmed, gutters cleaned, weeds pulled and the building was power washed.

Thanks to our team members Mike and his daughter Alexis (Alexis is the cooler of the two BTW), Jacque and Joe for volunteering and representing Sandlot. Thanks to the others who joined us at the site. Thanks to owners Adam McCauley and Ryan Dost for having a culture that promotes supporting our communities and co-sponsors this event. Thank you to the Humane Society for all you do for Bay County and the animals. And finally, thank you to the United Way for organizing this Day of Caring, and for continuing to help neighbors strengthen their resilience by advancing health, youth opportunities and financial security.

DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK!!!

Over the last few years at our production
facility, we have been blessed with a few 'Trash Panda's deciding they want to be part of our team. Today one was back! Our maintenance man found the spot on the roof that was where they were crashing our party.... and we think we have stymied them for now.

Well, look for more 'Racoon themed post' in the
near future as we are kicking off the Sandlot "Print Panda's"
