There was a time when I worked long hours but still felt broke. I was earning decent money, but I wasn’t paying attention to where it went - or how I spent my time.
One day I realized something simple: time is the only resource you can’t earn back. Money can be made again. Time can’t. That shift in mindset changed everything.
I started tracking my expenses and cutting out small daily habits that drained my wallet - unnecessary subscriptions, impulse purchases, eating out too often. At the same time, I began treating my time with the same respect. Less scrolling, more learning. Less complaining, more building.
I created systems - automatic savings transfers, weekly planning sessions, clear priorities. It wasn’t about becoming cheap. It was about becoming intentional.
Now I work smarter, not just longer. I save consistently, invest wisely, and protect my schedule like it’s an asset - because it is.
My time is my money. And once I understood that, both started growing.
