Hello everyone. Due to inability to meet the high demand I am seeing for camera systems I have made the difficult decision to halt accepting new customers. I pride myself on providing great service and a quality product.
But with the way the world operates now it is difficult to keep pace with the growing need for camera systems. I have slowly backed off on advertising and marketing this business over the past two years. Yet even with that reduction the number of inquiries I get is no longer manageable.
I could expand and hire some technicians to help but that would go against everything I have always wanted. That is to be the face my customers always see and deal with on every occasion. I pride myself on taking care of my customers. I make myself available to them nearly 24/7 because farming never stops. I wouldn't want it any other way. Over the years I have built an incredible relationship with my customers, one that I am passionate about.
I have been asked to sit down at the dinner table with my customers while doing work for them, had customers inquire about my health when I was laid up, and received Christmas cards years after doing work for them. All of these things mean the world to me.
But it has reached a point that I feel I cannot give the same level of service I demand of myself. My waiting list is extensive. So until further notice I will not be accepting new customers until I can get caught back up and feel like I have taken care of everyone that got me to this point. I will honor all accepted proposals and work with those that are actively in the design phase. Once I am comfortable to accept new work I will begin writing estimates again for new customers.

I'm often asked the same question "Do you offer wireless battery operated cameras?"

To answer that question - No I don't Why? Well simply put reliability is what matters. Look at this picture and that will explain a lot. This is from a wireless battery powered Google Nest. My systems never need charging and keep working even through the hardest things mother nature throws our way.

Recently I was hired to service a system that was installed by another company. The associated picture here labeled "installed by others" is the actual photo taken the day of service.
The other photo is a typical install performed by Ag Video.
The company that did this install doesn't have an online presence, no photos or literature of recent work. The system isn't always stable and I think it is probably obvious why?
The small details is what makes a good install and stable system. Ag Video provides recent photos of work and posts them online. We can also provide references from satisfied customers.
Simply put do your homework if you are considering investing in one of these systems. Search online for posts of recent work, check references, ask to see a site with an active system. Ag Video can and will provide all that.

Sometimes you're good and other times you're lucky. Being both is fortunate.
While attending the Midwest Horse Fair my working show display helped apprehend this shoplifter.
This suspect was using her daughters stroller to conceal and transport stolen items. When approached by my neighboring booth for footage I was able to retrieve video evidence that allowed the Sheriff's Dept to locate the suspect before she could leave the property.

No electricity? No problem.......This project involved 10 solar camera stations each with 4 cameras. The data was transmitted back to the central server via point to point wireless links. The farthest station was approx 1 mile away from the main office on this location.
Solar stations sized to provide 24/7 power for all equipment with 36+ hours of backup power for adverse conditions.

Some recent projects involved installing a 4 in 1 camera to existing wiring. This customer already had a camera in this location but wanted a better view of the property. Installing a 4 in 1 camera that has 4 individual lenses to the existing single wire eliminated the need for pulling more wires and adding individual cameras.
The other project involved monitoring a remote grain operation about a half mile from the owners home. Cameras were mounted to the bins with the recorder located inside the owner home connected via a wireless link.
