As the year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to say thank you.

I’m deeply grateful for the clients, collaborators, and partners who trusted Windward Design Group this year with their brands, ideas, and growth goals. The work we did together in 2025 was thoughtful, strategic, and built for the long term—and I’m proud of what we accomplished.

As we look ahead, my focus remains on clarity, strong strategy, meaningful creative, and partnerships rooted in trust and results.

💡 Intimidating . . .

That’s the label women in leadership still get too often.

But let’s be clear: “intimidating” is usually code for she doesn’t tolerate excuses, sloppy work, or wasted time.

The strongest women I’ve worked with—and for—have all been tagged “difficult” or "rigid" at some point. Not because they were, but because they:

- Asked smart questions
- Gave direct feedback
- Refused to take on garbage work
- Said “no” when no was the right answer
- Drove productivity and results
- Focused on smart outcomes over busywork
- Delivered measurable achievements

And for that, they got "intimidating“, "difficult”, or "rigid".

Meanwhile, men doing the same? They’re praised as decisive, bold, or strong leaders.

So next time you hear “intimidating,” translate it: she’s holding people accountable, she achieves a lot, and it makes others uncomfortable.

👉 We need more of that. And at Windward Design Group, we’re proud to model it.
