At this point should I just make my own social media application? Ya know, one that doesn’t just completely disable your account for absolutely no reason?

Imagine building up a page on Meta, whether it be Facebook or instagram, then getting a notification saying they suspended your account and that you can appeal it. You go through the steps of verifying you are human which includes text verifications, uploading photos of yourself and waiting, hoping they reverse their action, only to get a notification that the account has been permanently disabled for a vague, “violated community guidelines”.

Don’t let this be you. Facebook and instagram can be good tools to build your business locally all the way up until they decide you “violated their guidelines” and then p**f, everything you built is GONE!
