After such big changes to my business, I think an introduction is necessary! I’m Jessica, owner and artist behind West Pasture Studio. I sometimes can’t believe I get to do this for work. It’s often surreal and a dream come true really. But there is more to my life than weddings and art! So here is a bit more about life for me these days:
•
My husband and I just moved to his family’s ranch this past fall, so there have been a lot of changes around here! I grew up in a small ski town, so I wouldn’t say I’m a city girl but ranch life is another story! I’m loving the peace and quiet, and the sounds of cows and coyotes rather than sirens and loud cars. On the other hand I am trying to figure out how to keep this little house clean for more than a day and keep my sanity during my efforts. It is such a small thing and I definitely wouldn’t trade these mountain views for a spotlessly clean house! 🌲

I’m often asked if I get lonely living out here about an hour away from any major Montana town, but I haven’t experienced that so far. I stay in touch with friends and family, and my husband Levi, and I share a cozy little home office where he works as a structural engineer when he isn’t ranching. We really do enjoy working side by side, although I have had to stop talking so much. Apparently I’m a little too chatty 🤷🏼♀️ sooo what audiobooks, podcasts, music etc. do you suggest? Levi will thank you! ☺️
