The is deeply honored to receive the Gold Chapter of the Year Award. To be recognized by the American Marketing Association out of 70 AMA chapters across the country for programming, membership, and leadership is very special.

It is humbling to receive the Chapter Excellence Awards for 2021-2022 for the 8th time out of so many chapter leaders, really giants, of our profession. We want to recognize one person who has been an enduring inspiration and led this chapter with integrity and passion, Hami Arrington our AMA Houston President 2021-2022.

I remember dreaming of writing while overlooking nature (and cute treasures from my son😍).

Now I do this every day. Sigh!

I still put “writer” down as my dream job in the website security questions. Recently I realized that I AM a writer. I get to write for companies and help them communicate their story, product or service. I write for our local magazine and meet some of the most interesting people doing amazing things in the community and for other people.

I am living my long ago dream.

I hope you are too.
