Occasionally, a project comes together in a way that feels truly inspired. This was one of those rare instances. My longtime client, a church in Henderson, NC, approached me about developing the visual identity for their upcoming sermon series on Exodus. Through close collaboration with their pastor — who provided clear creative direction on the themes and screen graphics he envisioned — the project evolved into something I'm particularly proud of. The result feels both conceptually grounded and visually cohesive, a reflection of what's possible when the creative process is built on strong communication and a shared vision. Thanks Allen!

I’d kind of forgotten about this cute logo I worked on last year until I was looking through folders on my computer today. This was another one where I got to play around with Procreate and the Apple Pencil and create some hand drawn elements. 💡✝️⛺️

Small towns really are something special. 🍒

Years ago, I never would’ve guessed that a childhood classmate would be the one to connect me with Cherryville Federal Credit Union (Carolina Federal Credit Union)—but thanks to Chad (hey, Chad! 😉), I’ve had the pleasure of working with them on their auto loan campaigns for the past several years.

This recent project was for their Recreational Vehicle Loan campaign—a fun series of 3 designs that rolled out across posters, in-house TV screens, rack cards, flyers, and social media.

Imagine my surprise driving down 321 and spotting the in-house TV graphic featured on a billboard! 😄 Definitely not where I expected to see it—but such a fun surprise!

Always grateful for great clients, small-town roots, and the chance to create meaningful, versatile design work.

I've been working with the NC Family Policy Council in Raleigh since 2018. My main project with them is their bi-annual magazine, “Family North Carolina.” I try to push myself with the design and was so pleased to learn that last year's Spring edition won a 2nd Place award from the Evangelical Press Association. I don't usually submit my work so receiving this feedback was rewarding! This feature article and cover design utilized hand drawn elements which I achieved in Photoshop and with Procreate using my iPad and Apple Pencil. I do love how it turned out.

Looking back at some of my work from the past year. I worked on more hand lettering, like the Mt. Zion Youth logo I posted previously. I’ve really enjoyed using Procreate with the Apple Pencil and seeing what all is possible. Here’s to more hands-on projects in 2025. ✍🏻🎨 — This was a project for which allowed for some really fun colors and textures.

Creating the logo for Mt. Zion Baptist Church Youth Ministry was such a fun and rewarding project last year! I wanted the design to feel vibrant, youthful, and full of energy—just like the incredible ministry it represents.

I’ll admit, I got a little behind last year on sharing all the amazing projects I had the chance to work on (anyone else feel like 2024 flew by?!). This year, I’m making it a priority to highlight more of the incredible clients and work I’ve been so grateful to be a part of.

Another logo I completed recently for a 2024 Summer church camp held at Camp Kerr Lake. The theme “In the Wilderness” deals with how we live in a broken world (the wilderness) but are looking towards the land God has for us. Biblical themes covered during the week include: creation, fall, rescue and restoration. .
