The United Way of Bemidji Area has been BUSY this year! We were able to assist their marketing team with some footage of the "Live United Day" proclamation done by Mayor Jorge Prince and we had a lot of fun with it.

They have formed a group of local businesses called the United Way Pacesetters that have already donated a huge chunk of their annual fundraising goal. The Bemidji community is incredible and there is no doubt that they'll hit the rest of that goal!

Have you ever just wanted to start swinging an axe while at work?

We get it.

Actually, we encourage it! This is going to be part of a product demo video that we're working on.

Product demo videos have a habit of becoming stale or hard to watch and that's the last thing you want. You want your audience to stay engaged throughout the entire video!

A fun way to do this is to surprise them with some content they didn't expect to see. This is called a pattern interrupt and it works very well.

Next time you watch ANY successful YouTube channel, take note of how many times they use pattern interrupts and different hooks throughout their video. It boosts retention and keeps the viewer's attention focused on the video.

By the way, we like danger and the occasional near-miss with the axe. If you want to catch something crazy on video for your company, you know who to call!
