In life (& travel) as in business, you have to flow with the good and the bad.
Stuck at the ferry terminal with a canceled sailing. But I'm not fretting!

I'm embracing this unexpected break. Grabbed a coffee and a fresh croissant, savoring the quiet moments, and enjoying the scenery.

It does feel a little uncomfortable when a close acquaintance refers to you in a comment with both first and last names, doesn't it?
Seriously, if we've become well acquainted in person or even on social media, there is no reason to refer to me as -weeden, just Ginger works better if you want to stay friendly and connected.

Just as many features in LinkedIn come and go (like all social media platforms), the ability to delete the last name of a person's handle has returned to full functionality.

Type out the handle (-weeden, for example), then backspace once (just once!) to delete the last name. That makes the comment more approachable to the recipient and allows you to come across as the valuable connection and good friend that you are.
