THE JOB
Version-X, a boutique branding and graphic design agency, is looking to fill an on-site Graphic Designer position at our office in Bend, OR.
We are looking primarily for a capable and responsible designer who excels in detail-oriented ex*****on of concepts and production artwork, plus the capability to conceptualize and execute new design.
At Version-X we create and help promote brands, usually consumer product brands in the healthy lifestyle categories. The work we do runs the full gamut: brand strategy and development, print, packaging, photography, copywriting, digital marketing, interactive, and experiential, as well as assisting with general office operations on a daily basis.
We do a lot of different creative work for brands that are fun and interesting to work on. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
• Develop and execute design concepts efficiently, attentively following established look.
• Conceptualize new design directions based on provided creative direction.
• Produce final artwork for a wide array of packaging types.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Id, Ai and Ps and the correct ways to build art within them.
• Create, proof and review art files and content with diligent attention to detail.
• Participate in management of project timelines and deliver on or ahead of deadline.
• Gathering and understanding project requirements, helping to develop project briefs and implementing solutions.
• Managing multiple projects, timelines and deliverables.
• Researching new tools, techniques and processes that improve work quality and efficiency.
DESIRED CAPABILITIES:
• Top-notch written and verbal communication skills including being able to interact with clients and engaging and corresponding with clients.
• The ability to take verbal and written direction and translate it into on-target results.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Superior time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities, create goals and accomplish them with great attention to detail.
• The willingness and ability to do everything from administrative tasks to senior level strategy.
• An organized, dependable, proactive nature.
• Incredibly detail oriented.
• Versatility, quick learning and a great attitude.
• Stays focused–keeping other distractions to a minimum while on the job.
BONUS SKILLS:
Extra consideration will be given to candidates with any of the following experience:
• Product photography
• Videography and video editing

COMPENSATION:
Compensation offered depends on experience, talent and capabilities. This is a production/junior level position. Expected starting hourly range is between $17-$25/hr.
