Thistlefish Design Graphic Design and Digital Illustration - Good design is a lot like fishing – both involve the pursuit of something elusive, but attainable.

I have been drawing, illustrating and designing as far back as I can remember. The daughter of an architect and a fashion designer, I have enough creative genes to fill a closet! My work experience began with a position as designer in a print shop setting in 1980. I have been in the design business ever since then, including some previous freelance years and many years at a local agency. My roots

are in print design, but I have gained on-the-job experience over the years in designing for web, as well as involvement in radio and tv advertising and have been swimming in the social media world as well. I am proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I have a working knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint. I am learning the ropes in Dreamweaver.
