Today was the day! The UAMS Clinic for Multiple Sclerosis care is open at UAMS Northwest in Fayetteville Arkansas. This marks the first dedicated care clinic in our region.

This endeavor was the culmination of what community is about. Spearheaded by Rampy MS Research Foundation and UAMS Health alongside a vast group of partners and advocates, this life changing clinic has officially come to life.

The ribbon cutting took place at UAMS Northwest and guests heard from the UAMS Chancellor, Rampy MS Research Foundation, Dr. Archer, and Mayor Molly Rawn.

Meet Isaac Tellez, CEO of First Tee. 👋🏽
First Tee - Northwest Arkansas is a youth development organization using golf to teach life skills, build character, and prepare youth for whatever path they choose. The Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G is a longtime partner of the nonprofit, and both organizations mark their 20th anniversary this year. For CEO Isaac Tellez, celebrating the milestone together means “celebrating 20 years of opportunities created, barriers removed, lives transformed, and a community that continues to invest in its future through its youth.”

Julia Brooks is Director of Category Leadership at PepsiCo, and a passionate advocate for supporting women’s development opportunities and giving back to her community. She serves as the Recruiting & Placement Lead for NextUp Northwest Arkansas and was previously Treasurer for the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas, two organizations investing in the next generation of women leaders. That commitment is especially visible during the , with the annual Walmart Women’s Empowerment Summit presented by Kimberly-Clark on the schedule, benefiting NextUp. This year’s event is particularly meaningful as NextUp celebrates its 25th anniversary while preparing for the largest summit yet, bringing together more than 1,500 people for a morning of inspiration, connection, and encouragement.

Our managing editor saw The Outsiders last night at Walton Arts Center and she was left speechless. “One of the Very best Broadway shows I’ve ever seen. This is ART,” she said - through tears - walking out of the theater! 💛 Slick. Kinetic. Utterly arresting. There isn’t a weak link in this cast, but the Curtis brothers - Christian Arredondo (Ponyboy on Wednesday), travis (Darryl), corbin drew ross (Sodapop) - and Tyler J. Wesley (Dallas) give visceral, staggering performances. The fight scene, in the RAIN, is electrifying.
