Please Oaklanders and friends please do not be fooled by Loren Taylor's lies and misrepresentation of one of the most accomplished, dedicated public servants to work on behalf of the people of Oakland in the city's history. On Saturday, we gathered in community, over coffee, to celebrate the best of Oakland—and to lift up Barbara Lee’s campaign for Mayor.

It was a beautiful morning of sisterhood, strength, and solidarity—hosted by the incredible Women for Barbara Lee host committee. We were honored to be joined by the phenomenal Congresswoman Lateefah Simon, who lit the room on fire with truth and conviction.

🎤 “She does not punch down. Say it again: She Does Not Punch Down.”

Congresswoman Simon powerfully reminded us of four essential truths about Barbara Lee’s leadership:
1 She does not punch down.
2 She does not lie.
3 She does not turn our communities against one another.
4 She is the only candidate in this race with the experience to lead.
