We are enjoying working on a video featuring Terry & Shannon Trecartin, a paraplegic and his wife, and how they've chosen to not let their disability keep them from the mission of loving others.

We've enjoyed using the visual and technical art of video for some time now, but a major life event five years ago (paralysis from car accident) both put a pause on things and helped re-focus our energy. Now we enjoy the opportunity to push the boundaries of ability while still delivering the highest of quality, and I couldn't do much of it without the help of my friend and frequent collaborator Jeff Boyd!

The first post-injury opportunity came in 2021, producing three short documentaries of individual church congregations living out innovative and creative evangelism in their communities. We enjoyed traveling to Chicago, Miami, and Garfield (New Jersey).

This represented a big step in my recovery process – being able to travel independently… although one or two stories occurred that I can only laugh at looking back. So much more work when disabled.

But I'm very grateful for the chance to continue growing in the filmmaking craft I love.
