Kelly Darling is one of our talented Client Community Managers here at Key Branding Labs, and in just 4–5 months, she’s already made a strong impact across her accounts. From jumping into onboarding to building client relationships, Kelly has embraced the fast pace of the role while bringing creativity, collaboration, and a positive energy to everything she does.
What motivates you to do your best work every day?
"Working alongside such a great team. Everyone motivates me to continue leveling up the work I do for our clients. It’s so helpful to have people you can go to for a second opinion or support. Trusting your gut, walking in confidence, and owning the work you’re doing. The job can be fun and a little unserious at times, and that’s the best part."
Can you share a project or accomplishment you’re especially proud of?
"Taking on multiple clients, learning everything from the ground up, and getting to a point where I can confidently manage and deliver for them. That whole process has been my biggest accomplishment so far."
What is one skill you’ve developed the most since starting?
"I’ve learned that continuing to take steps forward is always possible, no matter how challenging it feels at first. Getting comfortable in the role took time, but now I feel more confident in the work I’m doing."
What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced so far?
"Being fast-tracked into onboarding was definitely intimidating at first. Learning everything quickly and adjusting to the role was a challenge, but it pushed me to grow fast."
What’s your favorite part of the job above all else?
"My favorite part is how much fun we get to have with it. We’re all working together toward a blueprint for each client and what their business needs, but we also get to be creative and bring our own ideas to the content."
