💐 We had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend!
Russell's parents met us at House Eleven for some delicious international food and chill house beats. The weather was amazing and we got to hangout with so many wonderful people. 😊
We're so incredibly grateful to have House Eleven close by and that they host so many fun events for the community to enjoy!

🎭 We also got to see "Collective Rage" at Theater Downtown, which was hysterical! 😂 We were pleasantly surprised to run into one of the cast members at the Bamboo & Beats event on Sunday!

✨12 YEARS!!!✨
Progress not perfection.
Removing alcohol from my life is by far one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Did it fix everything? No. Life is going to life. There’s still stress, anxiety, and days that seem impossibly hard, but not putting alcohol into the mix makes it so much easier to turn challenges into opportunities for personal growth!

It’s also great that the Birmingham event/bar scene is doing so much more to cater to those who choose not to drink. Having non-alcoholic options to enjoy is always a plus. I promise that you can still go out and have a great time without drinking.
I’m so incredibly thankful for all of my supportive friends and family who’ve encouraged me over the past twelve years.

To my friends who are beginning their own personal journeys abstaining from alcohol, YOU’VE GOT THIS!!! Y’all inspire me everyday and I couldn’t be more proud of you!
And the BIGGEST THANK YOU to Amber for being with me on this journey from day one. I love you so much and couldn't have done this without you! You're the best partner I could ever ask for. 💜💜💜

To those who are “sober curious” or looking for a change, take the leap! I promise you won’t regret it and I’m always happy to talk and share my story with you. The secret is not going it alone. You’ll be amazed at how many people will have your back!

We can't wait to hit up these events!

😮‍💨 Whew! What a weekend!!! 🎉
We were definitely in our Bham groove this past weekend. We attended a ton of events! Here's a quick rundown of what we did:
🎶 Saw Fastball and Eve 6 at Iron City! (Nostalgia! 🥰)
🥾 Went to Celebrate Trails Day at Pepper Place!
🐔 Judged the Wing Wars wing festival at Cahaba Brewing!
🌎 Celebrated Earth Day at the Botanical Gardens!
🍻 Had crawfish to celebrate 12yrs of TrimTab Brewing!
🏕️ Camped overnight at Oak Mountain State Park!
⚾ Enjoyed $2.05 hotdogs at the Baron's game!
🌿 Ended with chill house vibes at The Garden Party!
There were still a ton of events we couldn't make it to! 😭
😍 The best part of the weekend was seeing so many incredible people!!! We got to have some great conversations and enjoy some long overdue hugs with members of the BhamFam! It was so great to see people out supporting their fellow artists, musicians, and small business owners! 🥰
