Back in the early Bitcoin and Porkfest days, conversations around liberty, decentralization, Austrian economics, and voluntary communities felt alive in a totally different way.
One of the voices helping introduce a lot of people to those ideas was Amanda “Billyrock” Johnson through her narration and discussion of Henry Hazlitt’s classic Economics in One Lesson. The core idea was simple but powerful: look beyond the immediate effect of policies and ask what the long term consequences are for everyone involved. (Liberal Studies)
That same spirit influenced a lot of the early conversations around Bitcoin, freedom, media, and independent platforms. In many ways, those early liberty community discussions helped shape the vision behind We Rock TV — people building networks, conversations, music, media, and ideas outside traditional gatekeepers.
Amanda Billyrock’s work introducing Austrian economics and Bitcoin culture became part of that wider movement that connected places like Porkfest, independent creators, free market thinkers, and the early decentralized internet culture. (Facebook)
