The steps leading up to the Historic Independence Courthouse are decorated festively for , with strewn rose petals leading the way into the foyer which today features an altar-like stage where a few happy couples are scheduled to tie the knot. The proud officiant, who has donned a black robe for the occasion, is Inyo County Clerk/Recorder and Commissioner of Civil Marriages Danielle Sexton. And, she says, they will take walk-ins till 1p.m., for those who feel inspired to get married on this day of love. Hint, hint! ❤️
