There's a pretty large part of the area without Power tonight.
At about 8:40 Capitol Electic customers and MDU customers reported no power in much of South Bismarck.
The outage stretches from the University of Mary into parts of Bismarck and South of Washington street.
According to an MDU spokesperson says an R.E.C. or Rural Electric Company -- line came down on top of an MDU line.
No official word on when power will restored to capitol electic customers but MDU expects by about 10 or 10:15.

The Barnes County Air Show has been canceled tomorrow, because of a tragic accident this afternoon.
Bob Odegaard was killed this afternoon, during a practice flight near Valley City.
Authorities say he had just taken off from the Valley City airport, was doing a barrel roll, and crashed.
His plane hit other planes at the airport.
As you can see, there is virtually nothing left of the plane.
Bob was flying his famous Super CorsAir, a historic aircraft.

Dolin said he was travelling across the state working on a memoir called "Kindness in America."

Traffic on the westbound roadway of I-94 just west of the Grant Marsh Bridge in Bismarck may be temporarily delayed throughout the day today. An over height vehicle hit and damaged the overhead sign 500 feet west of the Grant Marsh Bridge in Bismarck on I-94. Crews will be on site to remove the sign which may cause intermittent traffic delays. In addition, Exit 156 to Bismarck Expressway will be periodically closed to allow for work. Motorists are urged to use an alternate route today until work is complete. Motorists traveling on I-94 west bound through the work zone should use caution in the area, reduce speeds and be prepared to stop. Flaggers will be present directing traffic.

Please help me find my dog, Jada. We flew into the Dickinson airport yesterday approx 11:15. I had put Jada in the back of my pickup to go home. I believe she jumped out at the stop sign on the road leaving the airport. When I stopped at a gas station (not 5 minutes from the airport) to get her water she was not in my truck. I drove immediately back to the airport and looked for her but she was gone. I recently moved to Watford City ND for a job. Jada has been a part of my family for 5 wonderful years. She is not just a pet, she's family and my little boys best friend. He is on his way to ND and I want him to have her here. I don't know how I can explain to my son that his best friend is gone and worse I don't know where she is. Jada is a sweet spirit, she would not hurt a fly. I cant stand the thought of her being alone in a new place. I have attached a photo of her. I am offering a reward for information leading to her safe return home. She is a blue pit bull with golden eyes, weighs about 65-70 pounds and is 5 years old. Please help bring home our family, we love her more than you know!

Deputy Chief Paul Leingang of the Mandan Police Department confirms a homicide took place in Mandan today.
He said its "very dynamic" and that they are looking for someone.

Republican State Legislator RaeAnn Kelsch admits she owes thousands of dollars in back taxes.
The chairwoman of the North Dakota House's Education Committee has been hit with a $300,000 lien for unpaid taxes.
Kelsch says the move caught her by surprise and she is working to resolve the issue.
