⭕ What do we want them to do next?

Jade and Kaelee had the opportunity to attend ICBND’s Women’s Summit — a day of leadership conversations, self-reflection, industry insights, and meaningful connection.

During the event, Jade spoke on a panel about generational leadership, offering perspective and lessons learned on communication, collaboration, and leading across different experiences in the workplace.

One thing that stood out throughout the day? Strong teams aren’t built by everyone thinking the same. They’re built by learning how to work together despite differences — and how those differences ultimately make teams stronger.

Awareness only goes so far.
So what makes a campaign go from something people know about… to something that creates momentum for generations to come?

This week at IABC Great Plains The Local Edge conference, Kayla, Kaelee, Hannah, and virtual-Tera pulled back the curtain on the strategy behind Giving Hearts Day and how intentional messaging helped inspire more than $30 million in giving this year.

The biggest shift?
Moving beyond just “the ask.”

Instead, the campaign centered on community identity, belonging, and shared responsibility — helping people feel like they were part of something bigger than a single donation day.

They shared:
→ How the campaign narrative evolved
→ New initiatives launched to deepen engagement
→ Lessons learned and a glimpse at what's evolving in the future
→ Why connection-driven messaging creates momentum that lasts beyond one moment

Beyond that, they embodied one of our core values: collaboration. Working together to share this case study. Really proud of this team and the thoughtful behind-the-scenes work they continue to lead to help clients like Dakota Medical Foundation and Giving Hearts Day thrive 👏

Today we’re celebrating Andrea’s 2-year anniversary at HexaHive — and cheering her on as she steps into her next chapter 💛

Over the last two years, Andrea has played a key role in helping shape our team, our processes, and the experience we create for our clients and each other.

She’s been thoughtful, steady, adaptable, and deeply invested in helping the people around her succeed.

From supporting growth within the team to helping create stronger systems behind the scenes, her impact reaches far beyond what shows up on any report or metric.
At HexaHive, we care deeply about building careers within our company — creating opportunities for people to grow, evolve, lead, and build something meaningful together. That will always be a priority for us. And sometimes, growth also means cheering people on as they step into a new chapter outside of The Hive, too.

Andrea’s last day with us is next Friday, and while we’ll absolutely miss her, we’re also incredibly grateful for these last two years and proud of everything she’s contributed here.
