2:13 AM hits different when you’re building something God actually called you to.

It’s quiet…but your mind is loud:

“What if I’m doing this wrong?”
“What if I missed God?”
“What if I’m already behind?”

But here’s the truth most entrepreneurs don’t want to admit:

Those thoughts don’t always mean failure.
Sometimes they mean assignment.

Because the enemy doesn’t waste midnight thoughts on things that don’t matter. And neither does your flesh wrestle that hard over something that’s “nothing.”

You’re not crazy. You’re not disqualified. You’re not late.

You might just be in the middle of building something that requires faith over certainty… obedience over comfort… and consistency over clarity.

“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” — Galatians 6:9 KJV

So if you’ve been up at 2:13 AM questioning everything…
don’t quit. Recalibrate. Keep moving.

There’s a moment in this episode where my 5-year-old unintentionally got a crash course in “Business 101”…from the local butcher. 😅

He was standing at the checkout with my mom, completely normal day, and my child looks at him and asks why his prices went up. No filter. No hesitation. Just pure honesty like only a kid can deliver.

And I laughed when my mom told me this story...but afterward, it hit me deeper than that.

Because isn’t that exactly what building a business feels like sometimes?

You’re in the middle of real life (kids talking, interruptions, unexpected questions, groceries in your hands) and God is still weaving lessons into the chaos. Teaching you stewardship. Teaching you humility. Teaching you that even in the ordinary, He is forming something in you.

It’s staring at it…while feeling like you don’t know where to start, what to do next, or how to even begin without messing it up.

So you delay.

You wait for “clarity” that never really feels complete enough to move anyway.

And quietly, you start believing the lie that everyone else has it figured out but you.

But that is not truth.

What is the ONE thing you keep putting off because you feel overwhelmed, underqualified, or unsure where to even begin?

You don’t need the whole picture.
You don’t need perfect clarity.
You don’t need to have it all together.

You just need your next faithful step.

That’s it. That’s the assignment.
