I haven’t posted a progress picture on here lately so I figured why not 💪🏽

The picture on the left was my very first “before” photo. I was so ashamed of my body and the way it looked and looking back at these pictures I can’t help but to be proud.

Proud of how far I have come, proud of never giving up, proud of showing up for myself even on days that I didn’t feel like it. I am so proud of me. A lot of people may want a “fit” body or a “skinny” waist, me, I just want to be happy in the skin I’m in. And today, I am.

Although that doesn’t mean I’m going to stop, it allows me to know I am capable of so much more.

I am going to keep pushing towards my goals, showing up for myself, and work on becoming the best version of me.

This garden had come such a long way.

It all just started with an idea.
The idea to have a place for my students to break free of the typical learning environment.
Teaching students with various abilities I have learned that free range can be a good thing (sometimes).
Providing them with a space to roam, explore, wonder, and just be themselves was what I had imagined for this space.

It has since become so much more than I could have ever dreamed of (although, I still have so many ideas in my head 😏🤔).

I couldn’t be more grateful for every single person that has donated to this space. I couldn’t have done it without you all.

Some before and afters of today’s hard work.

From pulling weeds to pressure washing and everything in between, I am EXHAUSTED!
helped me so much today, so so thankful ❤️

Still have a lot to do tomorrow but I am ready for my students to enjoy this space a whole lot more!

It hasn’t been an easy school year, this year has been challenging in more ways than one. (We haven’t even made it a full week yet 😅, but we will survive!)

I have a tough group, not going to lie.
I have some challenging behavior, I will say.
I have so many ability levels, for sure.

But I also have…
An amazing group of kids.
An incredible tribe of women that support me.
And most importantly, a team ❤️

I want to take a second and ask for prayers for someone that I have grown so close with over the last year. She will be going in to have a small tumor removed from her brain tomorrow and I want allllll the good vibes sent her way. I love you and I know you are going to kick ass tomorrow!
