This past weekend I hopped on a horse named Myrtle 🐴 and rode around Garden of the Gods in Colorado. She was so large I had to use a mounting block to get on and off. She was intimidating, but beautiful. And despite my anxiety, it turns out she was a gentle and sweet companion.

I’m constantly reminded about the rewards of pushing past fear. I always thought people who said things like this were cheesy or exaggerating, but going into business for yourself IS scary and it IS difficult to jump into the unknown. But it is also beautiful and freeing and empowering. You won’t always hit your goals when you want to, but you WILL hit them eventually. And persisting to create success for yourself alone is one the most motivating things you can do. Become your own hero. Show yourself what you are capable of. You can do it 💙🤎

Not to be redundant but there are few things more helpful to local communities than buying your products or services directly from members of your community. The more customers they have, the more affordable their prices can become. And you are likely to get better quality craftsmanship and ingredients from a person who has to see you face-to-face if something is off!
