Back in March of 2014 I was laid off from my corporate job of almost 7 years....
Getting laid off was one of the scariest things I’ve ever gone through.
I went from a six-figure corporate job, to unemployment with a wife and two young kids depending on me.
It was not how I planned to start my business.
I thought I would build something on the side, replace my income, and make a smooth transition.
But sometimes life just happens.
Sometimes it burns the bridge for you.
Looking back, that layoff was one of the best things that ever happened to me.
It forced me out of my comfort zone, made me bet on myself, and pushed me into the business I was too afraid to fully commit to.
If you’re in a scary season right now, don’t assume it’s the end of your story.
It might be the push you needed to finally stop looking back, and start looking forward.
