Many aesthetic practices think that emailing your patients is not something they want. On the contrary, your patients truly love to be informed and to hear from you. When I was a spa owner I used to send out emails a couple of times per month, but here is where I went wrong, I only emailed the clients that I “thought” wanted to hear from me, or maybe ones that I wanted to target for a special. I was very good at sending these emails, but what I found out was…… I would ask my client who came in the week of my email blast, did you see my email, and is that why you booked. I can not begin to tell you if I asked someone who did not get the email but they just came in because they needed treatment, when I asked them and they did not get my email they would say, why am I not getting your emails? Let me give you my email again. I would fix the situation by telling them what the email was about but they wanted that email in their inbox! Let me tell you, I fixed that quick! The results I saw were more clients coming in on a regular basis rather than randomly when they had an event or needed some pampering.
