Wooohoo, another marketing workshop in the books! Thank you to the Idaho Wine Commission for inviting me to host Social Media 201 at this year’s industry meeting. I loved seeing everyone engaged and asking great questions. I really enjoy hosting workshops and your participation makes it all so much more rewarding. It’s also always so special to to see my industry friends all under one roof. Special shoutout to my Holesinsky team ❤️ I’m so proud of Caitlin for crushing it during the Harvest Host panel!

The next workshop will be on April 14th - keep an eye out for more details from the Idaho Wine Commission. Until then, I’ll be here on social media scrolling through all your amazing content! Cheers!

Happy International Wine Day 🍷
How lucky I am to be part of this incredibile industry and to be able to explore amazing wine regions across the world 🌎💌
Chablis was a special place. Limestone vineyards, mineral-driven, bright citrus, pure expression, and gorgeous views. Chardonnay for the win 🙂‍↕️

I popped some bubbly to celebrate this one! Last year, I got to share the stage with the Eric Degerman (wine industry legend), and now the Idaho Wine Commission has invited me back as a speaker for the 2025 Annual Industry Meeting! Feeling so damn grateful and honestly, very proud of myself ❤️ I can’t wait to see my industry friends and present in front of all you wine pros ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thank you for recognizing the work I put in and giving me the space to share it. Means the world! 🍾🍷

Omg I was watching Shark Tank and normally Mr. Wonderful has me rolling my eyes, but this time he had me rolling laughing when he mentioned he is a member of the Chevaliers du Tastevin— and according to him it’s “a secret society of Burgundy drinkers who meet every 90 days across the world wearing a pure silver tastevin (cup), but if it’s dirty you get rejected from the meeting”. I was cracking up hearing him talk about it! He made it sound like it was most definitely made up, but it’s a legit group!!! I visited their Chateau with the Veraison Project when I was in France. The Chateau is literally their party venue! And as funny and unserious as Mr. Wonderful described it, the group is legit and their mission is to promote Burgundy wines 😅 And I think it’s hilarious that Mr. Wonderful is a part of that, but honestly not surprising LOL OH and I DID find a photo of him with his tastevin (last slide) hahahaha

Anyway, here are my photos from the Château du Clos de Vougeot in France AKA, the home of the “secret society of Burgundy drinkers”. This stunning château was built in the 12th century by monks. Wine is no longer made here, BUT I hear the parties are epic😁

Immersion trip to France with the Veraison Project 🇫🇷

Our first vineyard visit was in the Rhône Valley at Châteauneuf-du-Pape. This is the first time I’ve ever seen a stone vineyard. I’ve read about it in my wine studies but never did I imagine the vineyard was on literally blocks of stone! The water retained by the stone is what keeps the roots happy and healthy. The roots grow up to 15-20 feet long! I loved roaming around the vineyard taking it all in.

Next stop at Châteauneuf du Pape was at Maison Bouachon le Pavillon for lunch, a tour, and a blending seminar. We were divided into two groups to attempt to recreate the winery’s 2020 blend. Things got competitive 😅 (both groups lost) 😭 but of course we had a lot of fun.

This whole experience has been incredible and our group was filled with awesome people who I will cherish forever!! I am feeling beyond grateful and fulfilled. Studying about these regions then being able to connect the information when speaking directly to the producers, tasting the wine, and experiencing the soils and scenery in person is an educational experience that I am so blessed to have. I recognize that many wine professionals do not get the chance to visit these regions that we all study so I am feeling extremely grateful to the Veraison Project for making this trip possible and for believing in my impact in the industry. The wine industry is lucky to have their vision, leadership, and dedication ❤️

I will be posting about all the experiences now that I have time to write so prepare to be spammed 🤭❤️

We visited the following regions which were all pinch me moments:
📍The Rhône Valley
📍Burgandy
📍Chablis
📍Champagne

A celebratory bubbly 🥂
The hosted an online Scholarship Ceremony to congratulate the 2024 scholarship recipients. This was a competitive scholarship that I am so grateful to have been awarded. The president of the foundation, Deborah Brenner, mentioned that the recipients were chosen not only for our impressive applications but also because “we believe in the strength of your future”. That sentence right there made me emotional. I’ve worked really hard to get to the point I’m at now. Receiving this competitive award really validates the path I chose. And thanks to the foundation, I am closer to my goals. I used the scholarship money to attend the Wine Marketing Course. It was an incredible learning experience that connected me with so many amazing industry leaders. Grateful is an understatement 💌
