Been documenting Checkmvte for years now, and he’s back again tonight at StrangeLove for another throwdown. 🔥
I dug back through the archives and pulled together some of my favorite Checkmvte moments over the years, from the Knitting Factory in 2018 to Treefort Music Hall earlier this year, and everywhere in between. It’s been awesome watching him grow into one of the leaders in Boise’s bass scene. If you’ve seen him before, you already know he’s going to be bringing nothing but heaters! 🔥
He’s playing tonight at Illuminated Events’ Summerset, opening for Ghosty on the I Love Dubstep Tour alongside T3J and KILLMATTER.
One of my favorite parts of making this edit was finding an old clip of T3J from that same 2018 THUMP show. He played right after Checkmvte that night, and it’s wild looking back to see how far Boise’s bass scene, and everyone in it, has come over the years.
If you’ve never been to an Illuminated Event or caught a Checkmvte set, tonight’s a perfect night to change that!
