On July 19th, 2002….at 34 years old with the support of my family, I stepped away from an incredible job at Stoltz Marketing Group in Boise and set out with a loose business plan and heart full of hope that would transport me to today twenty years later.
Rizen Creative has weathered many changes, turnover, recession, technology, COVID….but through it all the last twenty years has been worth every moment.
I am beyond thankful for the people that gave their talent and professionalism to me on this journey. To the clients who entrusted us along the way with their brands and image and finally to the amazing vendors and professional organizations that gave support and guidance my heartfelt thanks.
I once shared with a mentor the following thought “my team is like family”. His response was shockingly cold, but businesslike. He said “Ron, their not your family, the go home and don’t think about you or Rizen.” Perhaps. But in my heart I have always looked at the past twenty years as a place where the people I have met along the he way, the people I have work alongside and the people I have looked to for guidance more than just friends and colleagues.
To each and everyone of you that have helped Rizen Creative be the brand it has been, on this milestone anniversary I would simply like to say thank you for being a part of what I consider a family. I wouldn’t be here today without you.
