In the last few months, Boost Media has undergone some changes. In late summer, after 5 years of operating in downtown Boise, the time came to analyze the future and make some tough decisions on the best path forward.

The decision was made to move on from the downtown Boost Media office and close the photo studio. Part of these changes included streamlining services offered and as a result making changes to full-time staffing. None of the changes were taken lightly but were necessary for the long-term health and stability of the business and staff.

The main focus of business going forward is marketing consulting, creative services (graphic design, branding), web development/SEO, paid digital advertising/lead generation (social, Google Ads), as well as continuing to grow our social media influencer channel This Is Boise and thisisboise.com.

Boost Media is still open for business and I look forward to serving clients with a passion to promote local Boise and Idaho-based businesses well into the future.

Today is Juneteenth, a day set aside to commemorate and celebrate the liberation of enslaved people in the United States. We as a company are spending the day reflecting, learning, and understanding.

In agency life, it can be tough to achieve a healthy work-life balance. The intense creative and logistical pressures throughout the week, coupled with busy home and life maintenance on the weekend, can leave staff still exhausted and uncharged coming back to the office on Mondays.

To address this, our team implemented a Flex Friday program. Fridays are a flexible day for employees to work remotely and, as long as client needs are met, handle appointments or chores during their Friday, leaving Saturday and Sunday for recharging.

Our very loved & appreciated Content Specialist, Melissa, has been blowing us away for over a year now.

She started with us as an intern and we couldn’t resist bringing her on to the team just a few months later. We will be sad to see her move states and start a new life in July but we are so proud & excited to see what she continues to bring to this world!

Happy one-year anniversary to our photographer, videographer, and writer Christopher Crawford. Last summer Chris joined our team and brought with him an eye for captivating images and enthusiastic artistry. Since then we've seen a dramatic increase in our videography, photography, and writing across both Boost Media and This Is Boise! Here’s a quick quote from Chris:
