Your Weekly Chamber Highlights:
While we wrapped up the final prep and organization for the Taste of Bolingbrook, we also kept up with several of our regular Chamber events and meetings.
On Tuesday, we hosted our Ambassador Breakfast and our Hospitality Alliance meeting. We were honored to welcome Michael Jacobson, Executive Director of the Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association, to our Hospitality meeting. Michael shared
Both groups came together to connect, collaborate, and continue supporting the growth of our local business community. Michael shred valuable updates on both the local and state levels and discussed key legislative priorities impacting our industry. Thank you to the Illinois Hotel Lodging Association for joining us, and a special thank you to Aloft Bolingbrook for hosting us!
We also had some of our amazing volunteers stop by to help prep for this weekend’s Taste of Bolingbrook festivities.
On Wednesday, we hosted our B2B Real Estate Round Table. Thank you to Ray from National Title Solutions for leading an informative discussion about the important role title companies play in real estate transactions.
That evening, we attended PechaKucha, a partnership event with the Foundation for Bolingbrook Parks, where the community gathered together at Ashbury’s for a night of connection and creativity.
On Thursday, we celebrated the grand opening of Pinkney Realty Group with a ribbon cutting ceremony, followed by our Taste of Bolingbrook Volunteer Meeting.
Friday was all about final setup at the Promenade as we prepared for the big weekend ahead. Thank you to all of our incredible volunteers for helping make it happen, and a special thank you to DUCAP for assisting with volunteers throughout the event preparation.
