Those small openings you may notice along the sides of some shipping containers or trailers aren't just there for looks!

They can help allow **air to circulate**, which can be important when you're transporting goods that may be affected by heat, moisture, or condensation. 🌬️📦

When you're shipping something that could be affected by **temperature or moisture**, it's worth thinking beyond the box.

Labor Day weekend is coming up, and we want to make sure your packages don't get stuck waiting! 🇺🇸

📬 **Friday, September 4th Carrier Pickup Times:**

**USPS — 11:00 AM**
**Spee-Dee — 1:30 PM**
**UPS — 4:00 PM**

⏰ **Anything received after the applicable Friday pickup time will not go out until Tuesday, September 8th.**

🚨 **NO CARRIER PICKUPS ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH** due to Labor Day.

If you need something shipped before the holiday weekend, make sure you get it to us **before the appropriate Friday pickup time!**

When choosing a shipping box, you want one that fits your item as closely as possible without being too tight.

A box that's too large means you'll need more packing material to keep your item from moving around. A box that's too small may not leave enough room for the protection your item needs. 📦

💡 SHIPPING TIP OF THE WEEK:

Choose the right-sized box for what you're shipping!

The goal is to have enough room for the item plus the proper packing material, without leaving a ton of empty space.

📣 **CAT IS BACK & IT’S SHIPPING TRIVIA TUESDAY!** 📦🧠

After being knocked out by the flu last week, I’m happy to say **I’m back in the office full-time for the rest of this week!** 🙌❤️

A HUGE thank you to everyone who was patient and understanding while I was out — and an extra big thank-you to Rich for holding down the fort yesterday while I finished recovering! ❤️

We’re back to our **regular hours of 9 AM–6 PM, Monday–Friday!** 📦

We will be **CLOSED next Monday, September 7th, for Labor Day.** The carriers will be closed that day as well, so there will be no regular carrier pickups.
