Warrick Humane Society is FULL, and we need your help opening kennel space so we can continue helping animals who need us. ❤️

So, from NOW through Sunday, September 13th, we’re making it a whole lot easier to bring home a new family member! 🐶🐱

❤️ 🐾 Fostering the Forgotten: Adult Pet Foster Orientation ❤️🐾

Have you ever thought about fostering a shelter pet, but weren't sure if it was right for you?

Join us for our next Foster Orientation and learn how opening your home to an adult pet can make an incredible difference in their life. 🏡🐾

This orientation will focus on the benefits and importance of fostering adult pets and how foster homes can give animals the time, space, and support they need to thrive.

We'll talk about:
🐾 Why pets may need foster care
Some animals simply need a break from the stress of shelter life. Others may be healing from injuries, working on socialization, or learning what it's like to live in a home.
🏡 Foster-to-Adopt (F-T-A)
We'll go over our F-T-A option and how fostering can give you the opportunity to see if an animal is the right fit for your family before making a permanent commitment.
❤️ EACC Foster Pets
We'll discuss EACC foster opportunities and how foster homes can help us extend our reach and help even more animals in need.

Fostering isn't just about giving a pet somewhere to stay.

It's about giving them a chance to relax, heal, learn, gain confidence, and experience life outside of a kennel.

For some adult pets, a foster home is where they finally get to show someone who they really are. And knowing who they really are is key to finding them the right home! 🥹🐾

You don't have to be an animal expert to make a difference. Sometimes they just need a comfortable place to land and someone willing to give them a little time and patience.

One foster home can change an animal's entire story. ❤️

If you've been thinking about becoming a foster, come learn more, ask questions, and discover how you can help a shelter pet take their next step toward a better future.

🥹 We appreciate this as this is how we can comfortably expand our shelter 📈, have community out reach like our vaccine clinics 💉, and provide other services like assisting with TNVR 🐈!

🙏 If you’ve been wondering how to do this it’s as simple as following these steps! We also can take cash and check at the shelter!

💚 Other ways of donating is through time! Coming out and spending time with our animals as volunteers is the best way to keep them socialising and ready for their next family! We offer bath times, play dates, and even walks! Come out and see who’s here we’re sure they’d all appreciate some more friends!
