It has been a while since I posted something on our Atomic Studios page, simply because not much has changed. We still do all the design work we used to, though most of our work is turning to producing Comic Book related projects. We have been too busy to even post examples, so I will dig some stuff up. We are happy to announce that Gary Guzzo, founder of Atomic Studios, has returned to the studio, following an injury that sidelined him for close to six years.

"I am happy to be back in the Studio, even though I am taking it slowly. Being back beside Dawn, feels amazing, and I look forward to working at Atomic, once again," said Gary.

Attention Comic Publishers, Editors and Creators!

Dawn just had a hole pop up in her schedule, so I figured I would inform everyone that she is available to work on Design and Production for Comics and Magazine projects.

We have begun transitioning Atomic Studios to focus on Comics, and we will be expanding our services for the Comic Book Industry, to eventually cover everything from 'inks up'.

Dawn is an amazing Comic Book designer, and loves to work within the budget of each project, so it is now possible to get top level Design and Production for your project, from one of the TOP designers in Comics. Dawn loves to work on small press projects, to add those subtle tweaks that bring a whole new level of production to your project, and has worked with publishers at the 'Kickstarter' level. This is the first time we have had an extended open schedule, so take advantage of the situation, and message us. Here is just SOME of the things Dawn has done, since beginning in the industry in 1984. Pardon me for not updating our Comics page.....the last thing I get around to, is our own page. Of course, we are also available for all the other things we have done, up in Maine, for the last 20 years, but Comics are now the main focus of Atomic Studios.

We just update our Comic Design gallery, on our website, to include the MANY books that Dawn designed for PaperCutz. We have been meaning to do this, since this is our focus, at Atomic Studios, but there was just so many things to choose from. This is a LARGE gallery, so it takes a little bit of time to load. Of course, we still do all the rest of the stuff, on our site, that we have always been doing. 😎

I am very happy to announce that Atomic Studios will be accepting jobs for Web Development, Design and Production, with the return of Gary Guzzo, to a part time basis with Atomic.

After five years of physical therapy, Gary will be back in the studio, part time, and ready to produce the unique and technically advanced websites and applications, he is famous for. I realize that I forgot to put up the Sister site for the Boathouse Bistro, which is the new, material design website for Mine Oyster. I totally HATE the way Facebook decides on what graphic to post from the website. I need to figure out how to get it to post the full page, as a thumbnail. We wanted to take a moment to wish all our wonderful clients up here in Boothbay Harbor, a VERY Happy New Year.

Despite some rumors (likely caused by us shopping for houses), that we are leaving the area, but that is not the case, at all. Atomic Studios continues to operate as a Graphic Arts and Publishing company, based in lovely Boothbay Harbor, Maine. We will be doing more and more publishing work (In our beloved Comic Book industry), but, as always, we are here to give the 'little guy' a level playing field when it comes to websites and marketing campaigns. We specialize in working with people with limited budgets, and will continue for another 20 years.
