Did you know that at your color analysis you will not only learn your best colors for your clothing, but you’ll ALSO learn all about your best hair and makeup colors?⁣

I found this photo from wayyyyyy back when, when I was thinking about dyeing my wig closer to my natural hair color. In both versions of this photo I’m in my season’s clothing and makeup but one photo is edited to have hair in my season!⁣

Been taking it easy since having my baby last month but truly I have been itchingggg to get back into the studio.⁣
⁣
My booking site is OPEN and available appointments start at the end of May! Right now you’ll only see availability for 1 or 2 person color or style appointments because of the baby, but I should have longer appointments available later this summer! ⁣

Erin came in yesterday and was shocked to find out she was an autumn, as she’s always felt really drawn to bright colors and had never thought of autumn colors as the type of colors she was drawn to. While autumn isn’t a “bright” season like spring or winter, autumn contains a plethora of GORGEOUSLY deep and vibrant colors, and we found that that is exactly the area of the palette that worked best on Erin. ⁣
⁣
Your fan of fabric swatches contains 36 colors but you get SO much more than just those colors. Because each season represents a quarter of all the colors in the world, when you leave your color analysis you’ll know your best millions (and millions) of colors! ⁣
⁣
It can take some practice to begin recognizing the colors that are yours but aren’t explicitly in your color fan, but once you work on that skill it opens up a whole new world. ⁣

How amazing does Jessica look in her cool and bright Sprinter Winter colors??⁣

Your natural hair color will work perfectly for your season, and very often they can help give us insight as we compare seasons. ⁣
⁣
As we were figuring out her undertones, one thing we really noticed was the way Jessica’s natural hair color played BEAUTIFULLY with the cool colors, but looked at odds and distracting when we looked at her in warm colors.⁣

The way the winter colors brighten up her gorgeous hair, whiten her teeth, give definition to her features and smooth her skin is amazing and so fun to see in person!⁣

While Kendra and I both do best in cool, clear and vivid colors, our bodies, lifestyles and personalities are vastly different. (Also we really are stretching the word “rock” here. Verrrrrry different types of rock concerts.)⁣

Kendra does best in “less is more” outfits, where even her casual vibe is still very classy and understated. I do best in youthful, quirky and fun pieces. So even at a metal show you KNOW I’m going to show up in a skirt and floral headband.⁣
⁣
Style analysis will help give you the tools to create outfits that fit your body and occasion but also feel absolutely authentic to you. ⁣

Sarah has beautiful blue eyes but they are so much MORE blue in her cool and smoky summer colors. Do you see how her face really comes into focus and gains healthy color in her season? ⁣

Both photos are taken in the same light, with the same 90 second makeup routine, but in the after photo we’ve added Sarah’s best colors and a lipstick in her season. ⁣
